Magic sets

Are we ever going to get any good mag sets? We've been using the same old sets for years. You come come out with op stam sets every dlc and garbage mag sets. Wtf?

For which content, @GeneraLandon?

Several magicka sets were just buffed ... and Trials isn’t the only content type.

For example, Vicious Death is strong in PvP group play this patch.

I'm assuming they're referring to pvp, because mag just got a new set for trial optimisation. Stam literally has like 3 sets in pve.

Lies. If you compare mag and stam sets, VO was meta for midtier mag dds because you couldn't sustain without it (pfg), compare medusa and tzogvin (tzogvin easily much better) or mother's sorrow and advancing yokeda. Stamina sets are just better. Nothing to do about it.

If you're talking about roaring opportunist try again. People wont even run kynes aegis because theres literally no good sets that drops from it

Trial and pvp. Trial guilds expect 65 to 70k dps from mag and 75 to 80k from stam. The mag set from castle thorn is basically julianos with a penalty

Which is more of a support set than one helping your own damage.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned that it was mainly needed for trial optimisation. Stam classes in pve are back to using a set that's like 5 years old now. That's why I assumed he meant pvp, and the proc set stuff.
