Possible Workaround for Western Skyrim Housing Map Glitch

I posted this in the bug report forum, but want to get the word out more broadly. My wife & I may have stumbled upon a workaround to the glitch where Proudspire & Snowmelt Suite map icons don't display, and the houses don't show up in the Housing menu. It's worked twice on both PC and Xbox. No idea why it works, of course. We both own Proudspire, and here's what happened:

* We were both in Proudspire and she invited me to group.
* When I accepted, I got the message "this player is in another version of Proudspire. Do you want to travel to them?" I said Yes, and off I went.
* When I left her version of Proudspire by the door, my Proudspire was suddenly on the map.

We ungrouped and reversed it - I invited her to group - and it worked for her as well. This was all on PC. Then we did the same both directions on Xbox and again, the same. Much as I'm afraid to jinx it, so far (2 days on PC, one on Xbox) the icon has stuck around, and the houses are now in the housing lists. It's also been account-wide as far as we can tell.

Again, no clue while this works, but if the update is going to be a few weeks out I'd say it's worth a try. I'll be curious to know if it works for anyone else.

Just chiming in here as the spouse. We've since done this with Snowmelt Suite, and it worked for that home as well. Both icons have remained on our maps and in the house map menu since, on both platforms.

I encourage you to try it out if you've got a friend who's willing to do this with you. Yes, you can still access the homes from the collections menu, but for those who'd rather have the ease of selecting the home from the map and don't want to wait for the official fix, definitely give this a go.
