Many class abilities generate elemental weapons (which is kinda silly tbh), but they overwrite the weapons we currently hold. This doesn't make any sense.
- A magblade is holding a staff, the staff disappears, then two daggers appear, then they are replaced with a staff again.
- A templar is holding an axe, which then is replaced by a spear, then the axe comes back.
It happens so fast you can't notice it, but when you do it's ridiculous.
We need class specific weapons - or no weapons at all. Why would conjurers use conventional weapons when they can conjure their own? I don't have much experience with other classes but here's what I think each class should have:
- Templar: spear
- Nightblade: daggers
- DK: chains
- Warden: unarmed or some lotus
- Sorc/Necro: staves or books
These weapons don't need to have a new line or new styles... They just need to be a thematic weapon that actually makes sense with our class skills! I don't want to be forced to use weapons that don't fit my playstyle (since eso has very limited options for weapons). These thematic weapons could also provide a small bonus to class abilities, such as +2% damage or -2% class ability costs, to make up for the lack of weapon skills.
