Officially selling gold or any form of RMT is prohibited and is a bannable offense. [snip]

There was a huge crackdown on both bots and gold sellers for about 6-months after the game launched. It was a seriously impressive effort by Zeni. But then they turned focus to the console launch, and then to the nonstop development of monetized content, and never really took an interest in enforcing botting, hacking, or RMT violations except for the most visible and egregious cases.

It's like when you get passed by someone doing 75 mph in a 65 mph zone. Just because they are driving faster and getting away with it doesn't imply that it's legal. I know someone who was banned for selling gold, as well as someone else who had to fight to get their account unbanned because they were sending friends large amounts of gold.

they must have really bad jobs...

if I compare the time to make 1 mio gold (some evenings) with 30 Euro (<1 hour at work), this does not look attractive for me.

Maybe in countries with lower income rates or bot-farmers?

(on xbox EU and NA I have not seen this yet)

It's attractive on EU Servers. People buy 10 Million Gol for just 12€ (13,61 USD). That ruins the game :(

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in August 2020. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.

    Thank you for your understanding.
