What skill would proc riposte in this scenario?

I was playing as a mag sorc and came a across a really good NB brawler build, he was great and played super well, but I saw riposte in my death recap. I'm running curse, frags and force pulse on dps bar, and bounless and streak on my back bar, nothing else does dmg ... what of those skills would be considered "melee" to proc riposte ?

UPDATE: So after some testing it seems that ANY single target ability procs riposte if your in melee range ... this included crystal frags, force pulse and staff LA... Doesn't seem correct to me @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom is this intended?
