Asylum Staff visual change: bug or intended?

To be honest I was happy to see Concentrated Force being usable again, but seems like characteristic visual effect of applying status effect is gone. I can't find mentioning it in patch notes, so my question is if it's bug, and if anyone else noticed it?

Yes the animation has disappeared for me as well for the perfected ice, fire and lightning staffs. I removed the style change on the staff and the animation was still bugged. The staff still procs properly though so it is only a visual bug.
