The drop rate is quite, quite low no?

This one handed in a prepared delve quest on about 12 apprentices.

One fireplace recipe was gained from all of this.

Khajiit feels this is unlikely to be a very rewarding and enjoyable pursuit with these drop rates ...

Many of blue recipes are worth 30-60k and purple ones 200-300k in guild stores. It shows that RNG is really bad...

I think most likely given what you've posted they are rate limited to one per day per account, or something along those lines.

I had saved boxes in hope that they would drop plans (and they do lol); So far it seems about 1 in 6 boxes to me, but RNG is hard to tell so soon. (2 green, 1 blue and 1 purple) For the purple, I stopped opening in case the purple has a cooldown like the purple plans from urns.
edit: I will keep an eye - so far all the ones that dropped plans were ones I had saved up before the update...

At 21 boxes opened and 2 so far (one green, one blue). Drop rate in all makes me think I won't be rushing to do these dailies anymore than I was before (which was pretty much never).

And, apparently it was good luck because I am another 18 or so boxes opened and no more plans looted

I opened 10 in total today and got 2 purple and one blue blueprint.

It actually seems to me so far, based on the above comments and my own experience, that the drop rate is not too bad. Thank you, Zos. It will not be impossible to get them all, but at the same time will take longer than a few days of intense farming for sure. Good balance.

I have average luck in MMOs, I don't have truly baaaad luck or truly good luck BUT it seems today I must have had good luck since I handed in around 14 dailies and got 3 NEW blue furniture recipes

Have hope for tomorrow - because if I can do it, anyone can!

I had 99 boxes saved up and received 6 plans, 1 purple, 2 blue, and 3 green

I didn't get any plans from the 6 boxes I earned today

The same was true on Elsweyr Dailies, as soon as the antiquities of skyrim event happens the price will drop.
