✭✭✭✭✭Having multiple alts is very farm-tastic, there's no way around it. There are some shortcuts, for eg., you can level fast via master writs and then buy the skill lines via trading gold/crowns. But imo, it's better if you just bite the bullet, and grind the new alt the usual way, because that way you will also get familiar with the class and role (if it's indeed a new class/role for you, if it isn't, then yeah it's going to be a few boring days). I think it's better if you mix levelling your character with other acitvities so it doesn't get too tedious. As for the hairstyles, there's many options, but it wouldn't hurt if we got more, especially since there's already different hairstyles on NPCs in the game, so they could easily release those.0 -

I find ESO pretty refreshing coming from WoW.
You can pay for sub with gold in wow. Also the expansions lasts you 2 years. Elseweyr which costs the same as a wow expansion lasted 2 hours for me to complete the quests. Then you basically have to sub or buy all the dlc if you want to continue the story so in a way it's more expensive.

Every wow expansion. You buy the expansion then they update and add content at regular times untill the next expansion comes out. Inbetween that you can just pay for your sub with ingame gold.

And this explains it well. Look at the Steam charts for ESO and it shows a three-month dip in players after WoW released content last fall. They clearly came back to ESO after once again getting bored with WoW.
Wow has progress though. Every expansion you get new skills levels and gear. Eso has been at cp 810 for ages and I have been using the same rotation on my warden for years. The is more end content in wow then eso. And then there is battle pets, mog sets, mythic + and leveling your pvp level to keep you busy
We have the mog system too, we have the PvP levels.. the wannabe Pokemon system, we luckily don't have.. And I honestly disagree about wow having more content.. IF they do, it's only due to being older.. I get so much more out if a eso chapter, than I ever did from a wow expansion.. especially after Blizzard decided to add the grind farm to unlock flying, and basically split their expansions into 2 parts
You can grind old raids there for mounts and transmog options in eso you can't solo old raids. I don't think there is any boss here that drops mounts. The mounts also mostly look the same either being a horse, wolf, bear or lion. There is also reputation grinds you can do to get mounts and toys. Professions matter as you get new things to craft each time while eso professions are sort of stuck since 160 cp. Once you hit 810cp in my eyes that's pretty much game over as there is no progress anymore. Cyrodill has been broken for ages. All you can do is wait for new content or play the same 4 battlegrounds. I have also been sitting around with 15 skill points for ages with no where to put them in..and it just keeps increasingEdited by Yuffie91 on August 24, 2020 7:33AM2 -

Character creation is good, but what always pisses me off when creating a new character is the fact that there are roughly 1-2 unique hairstyles per race, and most of those hairstyles are just plain ugly or just don't fit.
Creating a new class is good, but what always bugs me when creating a new class is the fact that there are class abilities for 5 buttons, and there is really no class uniqueness, stamina or not, everyone runs with a limited template in different variations.
I hate the thought of having to do it all again, spending countless hours on grind quests, grind monotonous mobs, guild fighters, mages guild, horse trainer, skyshard / skill point hunting, especially horse training. either pay the trainer six months every 20 hours, or spend more real money on a lesson in which I have already played on five different characters.I know ZOS don't care, so I get apathetic myself.

Have you ever considered just abandoning the meta and playing for fun? Its quite liberating. I have 18 characters, loads of them are just for fun. I play games for fun.2
