I dont mind the grind on new characters cause it helps unlock most of the map and especially on magic characters it gives more incentive to farm mage guild books at the same time. It also helps to be in 5 guilds with lots of players to port to.
    PC / NA @MellowMagic
Imperial named with some sort of variation of "Deo"
    By the Divines...

Really? I've enjoyed the quests because they open up the map for newer characters, and I collect skyshards, crafting resources and a ton of chests along the way.
    Favourite NPC: Wine-For-All
Mostly PC-EU , with a lonely little guy on NA.

The quests aren't hard, but they are mostly in area's my 'new' character hasn't been yet. The questline is great for characters who have already completed Cadwell's gold, but not for new characters.

Maybe let psijjic portals give some experience towards leveling the psijjic order.

I guess these days if you can't do something in 5 minutes then it's a grind, albeit less so if an add-on allows you to shave off a couple of minutes, otherwise the answer lies in the Crown Store. ZOS get it, shame that so many players fall for it and don't just enjoy playing the game.

It is good that the amazing abilities you get , cost a good deal of effort. Its another way of making player appear in non populated areas of the game.
" The trees, the earth, the sky, the waters; All play their part upon this land. May Guthix bring you balance. "

It’s tricky but you can get creative with how to travel across certain zones either through just walking over the boundaries or taking a cart or boat to them. It’s how I complete mages guild each time on new toons because I know the entry/exit points on each zone well. Like for instance you can walk south out of Stonefalls into Deshaan and south from Deshaan to a Shadowfen, but you can also walk north into the Rift from Stonefalls and I to Eastmarch from the Rift as well.

Yes it can take time to walk/ride it all but you can grab books and skyshards on the way. It doesn’t take as long as it seems even without rapids.

I find when doing things like these skill lines and the events on lower-level characters that the whole exploration aspect enhances the enjoyment of them, rather than just hopping from one wayshrine to another.

Why are we complaining about something added to the game over two years ago? Zos did not change the awful appearance of Nocturnal they are certainly not going to change that quest line.

BTW, it is about the dialogue, not the actual travels and the dialogue is quite funny at times. After that it is a very fast grind.

I must had miss the funny parts...

I have no issues with the traveling, the issue is that the quest leads to zones I do not want to go yet.

Although this quest line is pretty old now, it wont be old to new players and to those that have been playing for a while and haven't done it but now want to or need to.

Regardless of age and the occasional quirky line of dialogue, the Psijic quest line basically ticks all the boxes in the book: 'What-not-to-do-when-designing-quests-for-computer-games' for dummies.
