Hi - does anyone know the colours of the Imperial War Horse?

I.e. the ree and the gold exact colours?

Colours are based on your character's alliance. So red with dark armor for EP, blue with dark armor for DC and yellow with silver armor for AD.

The colors are also probably the alliance colors you get from the hero achievements. Covenant blue, Pact red, and Dominion yellow. I don't actually own the mount and play DC characters so I've not really compared them all.

@SianTamzin & @Vevvev thanks for the replies but I think you are both referring to the Alliance War Horse.. which yes does change dep on alliance (and I'd love to know which red that is.

HOWEVER my question is about the Imperial War Horse, always Imperial colours red and gold..

Oh, in that case maybe red diamond red? If not there is the Emperor's red but obviously that achievement is very hard to acquire.

Thanks @Vevvev I have the Emp dye, and the one from Battle grounds but perhaps it's what I'm trying to dye as they really aren't as bold as the horse.

I do struggle with the dye station if I'm honnest..how the colours differ on things. And why you can't mix and match bought dye packs

I'll look up Red Diamond red, Thx. I tried all the gold's I have but all look naff..

Oh that's understandable. I spent hours trying to make my outfits look good and for the dyes to work. Its a never ending battle that drives me insane sometimes.

Like for example when I tried to copy the Antiquarian Lady's dye scheme I ran into the problem where I couldn't find the exact shade she had. So I figured it was the Akatosh's scales gold dye since it was the one I didn't own.

ZOS can (and often does) dye NPCs with colors not available at the dye station or the Crown-bought dyes, @Vevvev.

An easy example is the Dragonguard light robes and costume. There’s no way to duplicate the bright red color unless you leave the dye channel blank.

Its a pink horse with 4k HDR, Delta E < 1 Color Accuracy, running Ultra High ESO game settings. Its still a pink horse.

I'm running 4K HDR, it's the red (crimson) and the gold it's wearing I'm referring too.

@Taleof2Cities i agree with you sadly. All the dyes I can get are dull pretty much. The two bright ones I've found a star made gold dye pack and the Patriot Red they sell around July 4.. but these are almost OTT bright and you cant mix and match dye packs which is also really frustrating
