Looking at playing more stam DK 🤔

Honestly been looking at playing more stam DK but have no clue what to run on it anymore its bsen months and I know things change every week it seems. I was running 5 newmoon front bar 2h and and 3 body. And then 5 fury jewelry all infused and weapon damage enchantment and 2 body chest and legs and blood spawn for my monster set and potentates sword and shield back bar. But I feel like its no longer viable especially outnumbered 1vX since I never play in a group. Any help would be great so thanks in advance ✌

A whole bunch of yt vids recommend Eternal Vigor instead of fury on your build. Tried it myself and it's fun, but not sure wether I want to stick with it. Other options I read about are Clever or Pariah.

Can't speak for next patch but I hear it's going to change quite some stuff.

NMA / Clever / Balorgh seems to be the stat dense generic "stam-anything" standard. Since both 5pcs can be single barred, it leaves a little room for tweaking (myhtics / 2pc potentates etc.).

Bloodspawn ulti-gen will be rebuffed next patch (Monday on PC), so that will be a good option for DK again.

Healing has been so nerfed. I don't think DK has had the worst of it, but a friend of mine who is a really good stam DK says the same thing as you: He finds it much harder to 1vX. The above suggestions seems on the money. There's a new build pattern a lot of people go for, namely a 2x damage set front bar + 3x on body, combined with a 4x on body back bar set, such as Clever Alchemist, leaving room for a mythic, Malacath or Wild Hunt, as well as a monster set.

I am not a really good stam DK and 1vXing is not an outright goal of mine. I run 2h / 1H+S, a damage set front bar (currently Titanborn), Prisoner back bar, Wild Hunt ring and Engine Guardian. Wanted to add mobility to my DK and Engine Guardian is such a nuisance to play against, it's part of my defense until Bloodspawn's back in business.

The general gist is that you feel less tanky due to healing nerfs. Being a Nord probably also helps.

I've been playing with 2/5/0 Balorgh, NMA front bar, 2 Potentates and 3 Alessian back bar, and Malacath.

It feels tankier than a heavy build right now (probably due to high resists and Shuffle), and there is significantly more damage due to Malacath and the medium 5-piece bonus. I like it so far.

Of course, that could all go down the toilet on Monday.

stack health recovery and stack some mag for good uptime on fragmented (triune is good imo) because heals are now trash
