Multiple Houses

I'm sure this is an old well worn issue. With only one primary house but the ability to buy many it is counterproductive to only be able to visit one via the user link. How about making more $$ ESO marketeers and selling me a portal that I can place in my primary house which gives access to my other houses for my visitors when I am not home. I would gladly purchase it.

Or more choices than "primary house" seeing as how I can "give permission" for all my guildies to visit all my houses

I prefer the second option. Portals are highly overused in this game. I am bothered by the fact that they can stay open on their own indefinitely. Even magic has limitations.

Agreed. There really needs to be a way to allow more than just one house to be viewable by other people.

I have several houses that never get seen by anyone unless I take them there because I can only have 1 set as primary at a time.

Yes please. Not just a way to give access to multiple homes, but a way to dictate which one is the guild hall. And a built in feature that allows you to go to the guild hall from the guild menu.

I think they should forget having a "primary residence" and just put a dropdown menu where you can choose from any of the homeowner's houses.

Also, if you don't want everyone to have access to every home, you should still be able to individually choose who has access to which. If the player doesn't have access to a particular home, they won't see its name listed on their dropdown menu. Or its name could just be greyed out.

I'd love this also.

There is an addon that lets you port to any house, not just the primary, as long as it's set to visitors. But the problem is it doesn't show what houses the player has but every house in the game. So basically you select the player then click to go to the house you want and IF they have it and IF it's set to visitors you port. If not, you try someone else to see IF they have it and IF it's set to visitors, and if not, well, you get the idea. It is not ideal by a long shot.

This is EXACTLY what is needed. EHT has portals you can set which are cool but of course to even see them everyone else who visits needs to also have EHT installed. Port to Friends add-on is invaluable for visiting the homes of others and I use it constantly. BUT this needs to be an integrated feature in the game itself. If modders/add-on makers can do it then so can ZOS and after all this time it's inexcusable that they haven't.

I would like to be able to designate a "public" house as well that literally anyone who knows your @name can come visit.

Exactly! Why have several houses and furnish them all if not a single other player can visit them unless you resign from having another one as your main residence?
