Really, this functionality should be in the base game. For example, right now I'm farming ICP and WGT for gear, but I'd also like to go farm for key frags in the sewers while I wait. I shouldn't have to manually switch my build back and forth between PvP and PvE when my queue pops. It's unreasonable to ask the people I've queue'd with to wait for me to switch my build every time.
This is only one situation where instant build swapping would be advantageous for console users.
It could even be attached to the already existing outfit system for (perhaps) easier integration within the current UI design. You could do all the fiddling with your build outside of an outfit station, save an outfit, and the UI could ask if you wanted the outfit to change your build automatically to what you have currently set up when you swap to that outfit slot. It could act as a pretty good gold sink, too, since I think people would be willing to shell out the 3000 gold to swap champion point setups a lot more often than they do currently.
Please, I get that consoles and gamepad UI are your redheaded stepchildren (or at least we certainly feel like we are), but give us this. It's such an important feature in a game with so many different activities that require so many builds to most effectively participate in.
Yes, this always strikes me as odd.Fur_like_snow wrote: »You picked the wrong platform for QoL.

TBH this is more on Microsoft/Sony end of things.
Not sure why XBOX has mods on skyrim and stuff but not enabled on ESO.
But PS4 good luck they seem to hate modding/crossplay so everyone suffers, yet everyone wants to run out and buy a PS5 lol go figure.

Any changes cost gold or another token. And IMO it should be either done in the character menu (a separate sheet like CP) or else added to say the outfit station.
