✭My first character saved Valaste six years ago, and she is still standing in the exact same spot in Eyevea, saying that she "needs to compose herself" but that I should not worry. Well, my dear Valaste, I worry. I hate to tell you this, but to me, it seems as if you would have actually been better off chasing pretty butterflies.
How about just having her resume her work as Master of Incunabula? Maybe having her act as a daily quest broker as an alternative to that other, non-relatable Mages' Guild quest giver handing out fetch quests for the random Sheogorath artefacts? It would even fit with her back story.

Given how much rage people have expressed about this reward over the years, I'd love to see ZOS pull a next level troll and have a quest that gives out 4 skill points to people who didn't give her to Sheo. The laughs would be worth missing out on the 2 skill points.2

Galwylin✭✭✭✭✭I already overflow with skill points. I've never sent her off because its a complete waste of the character in a game that has memorable characters you can count on one hand. Not saying she's memorable that much but they could build on it. Returning characters usually increase the enjoyment of a dlc. Unless they bland them out like a certain half-giant. But really they do that to all the Nords for some reason.0
