I like playing as werewolf and i love my magsorc. I wonder if i can play in PvE(not hard stuff) with werewolf.

Are there sets for turning magicka into stamina without respec? Or just sets for magicka werewolf?

Race: Altmer

Thanks in advance :)

Werewolf is not for magicka in any degree whatsoever.

You can run it in Overland, but I don't even know if you'd be able to do just basic dungeons with that set up. There are presently no item builds that work around magicka werewolf.

It's a shame. I'd love to run WW on a mag character, especially doing pve solo stuff. Never understood why they pigeon hole it only for stam characters. I mean you'd think anyone with lycanthropy could turn into a mean SOB, even a priest...Remember the movie silver bullet?

Actually, this is a perfect time to suggest a magicka-based morphed class.

A magsorc who turns into a Master Wizard, appearing maybe 1.5x the normal size, with special auras on staffs, buffing them depending on the type of staff you'd use.

For example, lightning staff would create a chain of dmg, affecting everyone in a 8m radius or whatever, stunning all enemies, or knocking off balance, etc.

    Yeah I know...more AOE. lol.

    Just a rough idea.

Yeah, mag builds don't work with werewolf in serious fights. I can see why, but it is a shame you have to never use it unless you want to hit them with a pillow.

Never liked the mag and stam separation at all. Feels like it kills diversity so much when damage is tied to how much mag and stam you have.
That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.
    Werewolf behemoth=vampire lord>blood scion>werewolf>vampire.

Well, it's kinda meh idea, but for overland content it might work. Maybe even for a base game normal dungeons.

Probably you can build something around Pelinal's Aptitude if you have high spell damage.

Anyway, no one stopping you from trying stuff.

You can. Sorc is a pretty great class for werewolf. But pretty much all werewolf damage output scales with max stamina, weapon damage and weapon crit. So you will need those to do significant damage.

You can swap to stamina sets (with max stam, weapon dmg enchantments ) when you want to play as a werewolf. You can just use crafted sets like Hundings and New moon Acolyte. And use max stam + max health buff food and stamina potions. You can easily swap between the 2 setups using addons.

If you want to go for a hybrid approach where you don't want to change anything between playing as a magSorc and a werewolf, you can use hybrid sets like Shacklebreaker + Ancient Dragonguard / New Moon Acolyte (personally I'm not a big fan of sustain nerf from New moon set). And use tri-stat buff food and appropriate potions. Might want to use tri-stat enchantments on big armor pieces atleast (infused trait on big armor, divines on the rest), and maybe some of those new tri-stat jewelry enchantments.

For monster sets, you can run 1 piece from two monster sets such as Domihaus and Swarm Mother. (Swarm mother helm and domihaus shoulder, should be easiest to get that way)

Keep in mind, your damage will be not be great when you play as a werewolf when you are already a magSorc, (I assume you have your attributes in magicka and CP for magic/elemental damage and you don't wanna bother changing them). But since you said you will not do hard content this way, it should be fine. On the plus side, you will have a good magicka pool to heal yourself when in werewolf form (since werewolf main self heal costs magicka)

The reason I'm suggesting crafted sets is because they are the easiest to get with right trait.

There used to be a really funny magicka werewolf build back when the heal scaled of magicka.
Currently, there is no real reason to play like that.

If you ask me how I would build it, it would be with Kena + Blood Moon + Clever Alchemist, and just light attack people to death.
The thing is that you have to wonder why you even bother with magsorc at that point. You would essentially just be picking it for the defensive options.

For solo overland RP, just slot shacklebreaker + NMA with any ol' monster set. Slimecraw is probably best.
