Normal versus Perfected Masters Bow

Before I stress about finding a competent group to run vDSA, and since nDSA is quite easy and relatively fast, does anyone know if the Perfected Masters Bow suffers from the same poor design as Perfected VMA weapons? Namely....the added Perfected Buff is lost when you swap to front bar, and is only active when you stay on the back bar?
