Theorycrafting Power Overload vs Strom Atronach

So i use the xynode's build easy sorc, that the main source of damage is heavy attacking.

The 2 main sets that the build uses are infaliable aether and undaunted infiltrator (with maw of infernal as the monster set and lightining vma staff on the back bar)

Since the build rely of heavy attacking would power overload (with 500 ultimate) deal more damage than storm atronach? (idk if power overload would apply the major vun from IA too)

With Stranglers (before the nerf hit us) i think that would do *** tons of damage since stranglers increase SP, and SP increases the damage from heavy attack, adding the 2 heavy attack sets and vma staff with power overload= stupid amounts of damage.

what do you guys think?
