on the login screen to the account (website) when i click on sign in, it does noting. doesn't even load, just nothing. it looks to me like it isn't picking up that I'm clicking on the sign in button.

Ive tried three different web browsers. cleared my cookies and caches. restarted my computer. turned my anti virus off. none of this has helped me.
I tried again today and still nothing.

Have you checked your settings as far as allowing java and so on? And have you anything new in the way of ad blockers? Either of those can cause that page not to work.

I don't use Firefox any more so I'm not sure how you'd do that. I have ublock Origin, an addon for Pale Moon (which is a Firefox fork, runs the way pre 5.0 Firefox did without all the crud Mozilla keeps changing, and is also more secure because it doesn't have all the junk that Firefox does any more) which is where I handle unblocking java on a site by site basis. I also have NoScript, and occasionally I have to temporarily allow an entire site if I need to get past the places where blocking scripts causes issues.

You might do a search on the Firefox site or even just google for your browser version to see if you can find out easily how to handle that. Or maybe it would be best at this point to put in a support ticket as @ZOS_Adrikoth requested.
