Vampire

Can I become a vampire at any level? Or can you only get bitten after a certain level?

You can become one at any level - but the quest was originally designed for the last zone of each Alliance - so it’s around a 35-40-ish level, I think. Same reason the shrines are located in Bangkorai; Reaper’s March; or The Rift.

Edit: I am looking for a “natural” Werewolf bite, ATM.

That's true but since there aren't any level requirements on quests anymore you can become a vampire at any level and complete the quest. Just to clarify ;)

That's true - but in addition I want to mention that they also reworked the quest with the vamp revision. Just to clarify, too. ;)

As a non-pet sorc since 2016 the U46 Patch Notes sound like: "Those who do not wish to interact with the pet gameplay can now replace this skill line eso as a whole."

But there is no lvl requirement to it is there? I think OP wanted to know if he can complete the quest at for instance lvl 10 or has to wait till he is lvl 35.

I’ve found, at least on XBox NA, that Bangkorai has the most convenient and reliable spawn spots. Three of them are all within sight of each other and just south of one of the Evermore wayshrines. Two others are within spitting distance from each other and the Troll’s Toothpick wayshrine. I can screenshot where I’ve seen them spawn tomorrow, if you’d like. And if you still have no luck and decide on a player bite, I can help with that too; if you’re on XBox NA

You can get bitten, and do the quest, for both vampire and werewolf, at any level.

The re-vamp to the Vampire quest just added the use of each of the skills you will attain as you level-up, instead of just feeding, like the old version of the quest had you do.

Sure - you can become vamp and do the quest as soon as you wish.
I just tried to say, that even the quest is not the same anymore - so Shawns answer was correct same years ago, but now it was doubled wrong.

Sadly the quest does not go over mistform and blood frenzy, one of which is a very high skill ability that can kill you if you're not careful.

    Right.
I misspoke. The quest doesn't cover every skill in the skill-line.
    My bad. Sorry.

? What do you mean, "doubled wrong?"

My response is correct, and was deemed an "accepted answer."

The zones where Vamp & WW bites are available are still the hardest / meant for the highest-level in the Alliance story, so while it is possible on a character of any level - it might be more difficult... whiiiiiich I stated in my orig post.

    TY!

I spent nearly 3 weeks searching for Bloodfiends the first time I wanted a Vamp character - reading every article; making my own maps; watching the moon cycles and driving myself crazy. Lol. Just as I was about to give up, there they were!

I noticed the full moon in game last night - so I went searching... and boom! got a bite. Oddly - even though I didn’t kill them, and just ran away - they de-spawned, when usually they remain. Soooooo glad it didn’t take 3 weeks this time! Lol.

They will de-spawn at a point somewhat close to sunrise if they haven't been killed.
Unfortunately, I can't remember how far removed from sunrise that actually is; I've only been able to witness it once, and that was a while ago. I want to say it was roughly about an hour before sunrise.
So, you may have been at that point when you saw them de-spawn.
