Is it just me or would you think that as newer ever more expensive housing is added to Tamriel, older housing should decrease in price?
( i will this time overlook the fact the price of a player house is the same cost of a new AAA game.......)

I expect that would cause huge issues with players that had paid the original price would be upset especially given that some homes cost upwards of a hundred dollars. Assuming you're talking about homes that can only be purchased via crowns only and not that can be purchased with in game cash.

Homes do sometimes have a discount, so if you wait you might get it cheaper on a sale. But its far from guaranteed nor known how much the discount is.

Yeah. They did a 30% house discount for loads of houses for Black Friday 2 years ago I think. There was also a 30% discount for Lucky Cat Landing a couple of months ago. But in general, housing discounts are few and far between.

Instead of flat-out reducing the price of older homes (which I think would be a bad idea), they should do discounts more frequently. They should return older Limited Time Offers to the Crown Store more often throughout the year (not like having to wait 1 year or even longer in many cases for a house to return), and they could add discounts for houses in general.

I notice they stopped doing the Furniture discounts that they had going on - reducing the Crown Price of a Furniture type for a month, then switching the discount to another type, etc. I wish it had stayed and they had expanded it to houses.

I'd rather they just offer older houses for in game gold, but that's me.
