VDSA loot bug

Eso the perfect game as is decided to crash on my on vdsa last boss at 10%. I log back in to discover that i didnt get loot from last boss and nobody in my group can trade me items. This is *** absurd. Fix this please...... https://imgur.com/a/6hY4i0O @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Help someone

This isn't a bug. You disconnected from the game and were not in group when the last boss was killed and therefore did not get any loot. This happened to me earlier this week in Cloudrest where I missed out on double coffer drops from the last boss because I disconnected. It really sucks, but what exactly do you want them to do?

Used to you could still loot the final chest as long as nobody looted yet, it didn’t matter who killed the final boss. I have dropped group before to let a friend have my drop and it worked, they would join the group after I left and then everyone would go loot the chests.

This should still be true. If your teammates waited for you to get back before looting the chest, you all would have gotten loot. It doesn't matter if you're around for the end boss or not.

For whatever reason, they decided to loot while you were offline, which is why you don't get to loot the chest and can't be traded items. You weren't there when the looting took place.

I agree with this post and oof that is rough that the group did not wait. People sell vDSA runs to take advantage of this mechanic - one person drops group and an outsider is brought in to loot the chest.
