Massive Latency Issues (PC-NA)

Is anyone else having super bad issues with latency around now? I'm in Australia and getting 999+ consistently, can't interact with objects because of lag - can't sheathe/unsheathe my weapon.

The launcher also opened super slow like it was in slow-motion, lagging out. Then I got "could not retrieve announcements" followed by an endless spinning wheel at login only to get a "login timeout" message.

I'm in Australia, but this is highly unusual. Happening on 2 PCs in the same house, have already restarted both PCs and reset my router with no effect.

Same. In Singapore. Also resets my settings back to default. Massive lag then dead

I'm now getting Error 108: Login Failed.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Any insight? I've checked the troubleshooter guides and there aren't any maintenance/downtime notifications I can see for PC-NA.

PC-NA, playing from SG, having 700-2k ping this evening.
Thanks for the traceroute. Half expected bad hops and Akamai ... as this tends to pop up every few months with alarming regularity.

I thought the whole idea of switching from Akamai HKG to SYD/MEL was to address the previous hopping all-over-europe and horrid latency issues? We're back to square one. Would like to know if the network team is on top of the situation please?

I've been getting horrible latency Issues on PC/NA, used to be 130, now its always close to 250-300 and can spike to the thousands randomly. Though honestly I wouldn't expect much to happen. The game as been falling apart for a while now. Performance of all kind is garbage and it probably won't change. We've dealt with these issues for a while now, and literally nothing has gotten better.

Same, PS4 EU, Australia. I went into ICP Vault. Came out, decided to kill the mobs in front of the door into the dungeon; that lagged out so badly that it kicked me back to the character select. Tried to load back in twice, it didn't give me any error, just returned me to the char select. So I quit the game and checked my internet connection, which was fine. Tried to log back in. Timed out, then got an internal error... finally got back in, on the character that was in ICP, and arrived in the game dead at the wayshrine I travelled into ICP from. Before I logged out, it wouldn't even load my mail.

This is unsettling, given the same thing happened to a slightly worse degree just prior to last week's maintenance.

In the 3 years that I have been playing this is normal in both servers, the European and the North American. Especially frequent during events, the very high latency is accompanied by disconnections from the server and long waits to reconnect ...

I've been getting lag, jogging (not even a full run) in Rawl'ka...
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
