Using Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2 Macro Keys for Keybind

Hello All -
I'm attempting to use the macro keys on my Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard as keybinds in ESO. I'd like to use the M1 and M2 keys to change between my gear sets, but when I attempt to register the keybind, the game doesn't register that I pressed M1/M2. Is there a way to use these keys for keybinds?

I am not trying to run any macros of any kind, I just want to use the extra keys on my keyboard for keybinds.
