Here I am, creating a new character to try out... however, I was limiting myself to the three races of the Aldmeri Dominion (Altmer, Bosmer, Khajiit) and Imperial. This is because I am all Dominion, all the time...

But I was going to leave my comfort zone and role a Dunmer DK with the Pact when I remembered...

"I bought that dang 'Any Race Any Alliance' upgrade a few months ago!!!"

Now I can create any combo and not abandon my alliance! And not feel weird about it!

How many of you out there are loyalists to your leaders? (Queen Ayrenn is by mains boo thing)

Anyone else run into this issue of only creating characters in your alliance? Im only curious. No judgement here!

    Well, depends on how you define leader....

    At first I did mostly AD because I really do like the queen

    Later (and currently) I seem to do mostly Pact, because Malukah

    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I don't even PvP, but almost all of my characters are DC. I only put them under AD/EP if it's part of their (origin) story. :blush:
    if I could make another character, their name would be Cries-For-Character-Slots. AKA, I need more.

    I met my redguard cousin in SummerSet, unfortunately my relative died due to nefarious practices happening in the background. My redguard relatives crashed on to the shores of summerset with no way back to the homeland. They started off small in summerset, but slowly etched out a living there. They were hated at first but when the summerset natives saw their value in trade, they accepted them. Then after 3 generations, the war happened. I've never been to our homeland. Those eyes of hate my relatives had to endure are back on me again as everybody is on edge. They wanted ME to be a spy, but I am a simple mastercraftsman who know only about the land i've called home. Most of our traditions and have been altered to fit the summerset culture. I'd probably be found out quickly.

    What stops me from jumping ship and siding with my long lost relatives? We all can agree, summerset has its problems, but I've lived here all my life on the land. I've made friends, I've made enemies. I've made wealth, I've lost wealth. The fact that my family has been on the shores for 3 generations and able to continue to stand here and be prosperous is a testament to our resilience, strength, and determination. Those who helped us stand on our feet in a foreign land when our family had nothing to go back to, is the reason why I fight for AD with no hesitation. Some in the DC may call us traitors, however, what are they doing exactly? Fighting for their livelyhood. So am I.

    Daggerfall Covenant for almost all my characters. I have one of the 18 that I forgot to change from the default.

    And I don't think it is just coincidence that one letter from each of EP and AD combines to make what you get when ya pop them AP!
