Add Healing Cap for PvP

Add healing cap so we don't have to deal with 0 skill ball groups. Not only that why healing stacking is a thing. Why do you allow people to run around with 5-6 rapid regen on them. 5-10 People running together spamming rapid regen on each other is this the PvP Zos can offer? Zos can't afford building decent servers, can't afford making resonable changes on PvP, should we all abandon PvP just like Zos did?

    Srsly though... I agree.. it would be good if same ability heals could not stack on players (in PVP).

    I think you're forgetting that a lot of healing skills have already been relegated to groups only, @p4l4mu7.

    Barrier for example.

    It's one of the many reasons I prefer battlegrounds over the zone pvp stuff. I'm more of a pver but at least in battlegrounds I don't see ball groups running around at least in my experience.

    Just make healing only for caster and one another person. This way ballgroups doesnt have that many heals.. Do the same with purge and they are gone... it doesnt need to be applied to pve, if its in battlespirit buff

    This is an absolutely terrible idea, the last thing this game needs is more healer nerfs.. They are already at a 60% reduction in PvP and a GOOD healer will do well, while a bad healer can be bursted down by a single DD. There is a skill cap to healing in PvP and if you are unable to kill one, more than likely you don't have enough CC or burst to counteract them *or* they are simply more skilled than you.

    Just because something has beaten you doesn't mean it needs to be changed!

They are already at a 60% reduction in PvP and a GOOD healer will do well, while a bad healer can be bursted down by a single DD. There is a skill cap to healing in PvP and if you are unable to kill one, more than likely you don't have enough CC or burst to counteract them *or* they are simply more skilled than you.

    I think the point they made is it isn't just one but an entire ball group of them doing it together. Usually ball groups the members on their own are less of a threat but then you have the entire ball zerg doing this. Negate seems to be the most effective way of combating this but that requires being a sorcerer class.

    Limiting healing to the people you're grouped with should definitely be a thing. If you're by yourself aka un-grouped your heals should only target yourself.

    That and reduce group size to 12 in PvP. :)

    i play alot of pvp and the main issue, is not healing etc, but rather peeps up against them, chasing them to a resource tower and turning the flag there bk to there alliance, which is the last thing you want to do, dont take the lag and take down the tower, also dont chase them make them come to you, use open space dont chase them around towers etc, use negates and when negate is down use hard cc's as snow treadders and cleansing can get rid of soft cc's, so lets say they are stacked at gate drop a negate, put hard cc's down and do an ult drop, say if you have 12-24 against them a star drop of 12-24 will do alot of damage, have a tank run around in the ball group breaking their armour, also chain/slver leash them out one by one, the healing nerf is not need there is other ways around it, just dont play there game

    Yeh, it's definitely me that's the problem.

    How dare I not be able to kill any of the group made up of 6 thumbless players that can't cc break because they have 4 rapid regens and rituals stacked on them....

    I agree OP.

    A good solution is to stop heals stacking. You have one rapid regen on you and another is cast by someone else? Wipe the first one.

    Heal stacking is a broken mechanic unless you're running around with 30k dawnbreaker don't talk about not having enough damage. Let me tell you what happens when you cc and burst a ball group since you have no idea how it works. All the rapid regen they stacked on each other will give them +10k healing per second, [snip] "you don't have enough CC" Do you even know about cc cooldown, what are you even talking about not having enough cc do you expect me to stun them every 1 sec.

    I agree with this totally.

    -Remove heal stacking, a recast should refresh the effect.

    -Lower group size.

    -Group heals only and maybe make rapids a self heal.

    This will IMO drastically reduce calculations and reduce those who spam these abilities the most.
    All these changes should only effect PVP and they have demonstrated that that is more than possible.

    If we can stock the same DoT over and over, it only makes sense we can stack the same HoT over and over.

    If you disable one, you must disable both. This in turn may increase class diversity among groups, however.
