I have a Nascent Indrik but can only buy Nascent feathers, why?

I have a Nascent Indrik that I bought in the first one of these Indrik events. To make matters worse I bought an extra two of the first feather set because I am stupid. Now after getting two of the green mossy things all that is offered for sale are the feathers I don't need. My collectible fragment list shows them as not collected. I am tired of buying Nascent feathers.
Have I missed something or do I need to buy the first feather set again?

Wait until the next event which should offer the next 2 berries to complete this quarter's reskin.

1. 4 feathers -> Nascent Indrik
2. Nascent Indrik + 4 berries -> evolved Indrik of berries type
3. Evolution removes Nascent indrik, go to step 1

Remaining mossheart berries will be available during future events.
So, by buying feathers while having Nascent you ensure that when you evolve it, you will be able to create new one immediately

So you bought the four feathers and turned them into a Nascent Indrik? And now you've bought four more feathers and the first two of the new berries?

You can't turn the four feathers into an Indrik yet, because you have one already. You will need to collect the four berries (two now and two in the next events) and then combine them with the Nascent Indrik to make a Moosberry Indrik.

Ah! The other forms of Indrik are not upgrades but are new ones made from a Nascent AND four of the other version Indrik. Gads, I have wasted 80 tickets buying berries and such but never gotten enough to do one Indrik transformation. This is about as much fun as getting punched in the stomach. I just did not understand whatever I read about this process.

Last year, they brought back all of the berries from the earlier quarters during the New Life Festival. No guarantee that they will do it again, but there is some hoe that you can complete your berry collection.

I wonder if they bring ALL of the previous berries. Would be fair.

I yearn for this, because last year my AC leaked and flooded my room and caused water damage to my PC which meant I missed two berries for the Pure-Snow. That saddens me, because it's one of the coolest looking ones. I've been hoping against hope that I'll get to complete it.

There will be at least one more indrik after the Mossheart, and probably at least two more-- one in quarter 3, and another in quarter 4. After this year, who can say?

Anyway, you can have one and only one Nascent Indrik, but you can be collecting the four feathers needed to summon another Nascent Indrik after you've evolved your existing Nascent Indrik. Some players (like myself) are hoping to come out of these events with all of the evolved indrik mounts-- and the matching pets-- plus an unevolved Nascent Indrik.

If you aren't interested in collecting more feathers, or already have all four feathers and can't combine them yet because you've already got a Nascent Indrik, you can spend your event tickets on the outfit style pages, group repair kits, or home furnishings-- or just stop trying to earn more tickets once you've got 12 and can't collect any more.
