Are magika necromancers any good for pve content?

I saw a lot of discussion of the stamina necromancers being better and magika necromancers not being very good but I have curious of magika builds of it and wondering how well they do for pve content. Plus magika seems to make more sense for a necromancer. My necromancer is a dark elf so would be an easy switch. But just wondering if it is worth it.

They're fine for all PvE content.2 -

It depends on what your preference is. Its the same question you'll ask for any class, stam vs mag. With mag spec you have more options for fall back and range, with stam you're going to be more melee oriented. Depends on which you are more comfortable with, honestly.1 -

✭✭✭✭Yes, but tanking you'll be going a more hybrid route. But for healing and dps, magcro is fine in all pve content.2 -
madarame_77✭✭✭If you are after score numbers then magcro will be behind some classes. But it's still sought after in many trial groups because of its unique buffs. But it's good for any content, including vet hm dlc trials (depending on how fast you can press the buttons).0

What in dungeons and trials? Tanking? Healing? DD/DPS? For tanking one commonly puts a lot of attribute points in health. For healing one would clearly want a magicka character with all or almost all attribute points in magicka.
