No event crates for tanks and healers

Love how zos still haven't included a system to allow tanks and healers during the group content to compete with dd's for "damage to boss" to get the event crates. Literally doing guild runs with folks and we don't get drops ie chances when we run our healers and tanks. Whats the point in doing group activities in this game when you don't get rewarded for playing the game.
Come on zos, surely a heals done or damage taken metre can be used within the boss' zone or something. Not everyone swaps their tanks out to deal sufficient damage compared to pure dd's for open world content.

If you are in a group you're still part of the loot roll, assuming the group qualifies for loot.

Healers healing do count to get loot. Tanks have it tricker though if it's more than 12 people. Is it 12 or less though the tank gets loot too.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

There are so many other ways to get event crates than just farming world bosses.

It's not fair to tanks and healers but there are other ways to get the event boxes for Summerset Celebration.
Geysers work like dolmens so you just have to "participate" and you qualify for the "treasure chest" at the end, where the event box is.
And of course there are delves which are based on quest turn-in, not killing anything.

Sure, it's not fair compared to your actual participation at a world boss, but you are also insisting on using the wrong build for the particular content.

A more valid complaint would be newbie players with lowbie DDs who have no other option or better DD toons at all, "forcing" them to only do geysers and delves.

Hmmm... I was at the Gryphon WB yesterday with my mag-necro specced out as a hybrid healer/DD (my overland build). Not in a group, just jumping around throwing mostly heals and then regular BlastBones and Skeletal Arcanist and the occasional Crushing shock.

    Got purple crates both times.

I would encourage folks who normally run as tank or heals to slightly tweak their builds, and it might just be enough.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
