Need advice for my build :)

mr-tormentrwb17_ESO
Hey guy's so I have been on and off ESO for the past year or so and decided to jump back in after 6 - 8 or so month's

My main is a stam nightblade CP lvl 193

The first thing I have noticed when I jumped in, my HP I feel is extremely low which when having a look around the forums, most people say is fine, without any food buff even fighting NPC's can be quite hard.

Max Mag is currently 9.3K
Max Health is only 13.7
Max Stamina is 28.3

My attribute points are the following :
Mag 0
Health 5
Stam 59

Just a fyi my character is also a vamp which I feel really hinders the way its played when going into the stages, any form of PVP is challenging when a mage uses anything to do with fire.

My Armor is a mix of Bone Pirates for the extra stam between 2 - 3 pieces / Spelunker and one piece of Leviathan

The questions are this, for the armor / weapon's I understand having the same set will greatly increase stats, which set should I go for and where do I farm this? (currently am going through dungeons)

Secondly Food Buffs I know these are helpful but for the decent ones where am I able to get them? or am I only able to acquire them if I make them myself?

Thanks for any input you guy's can give! Hope I can get out there and last longer than I have been in PVP

    Hi and welcome back.

    The basics:

1-Yes, use sets. Farm by either Region or dungeon (low level undaunteds are a good start).

2-Survivability; you need to have 18k (with food) to avoid most one-shots. Most health buff/combo foods will add in the range of 4k, so you need around 14k to start with. I personally tend to default my "starting attribute points" to 14-health, 50-primary stat and 0-secondary stat, which keeps the character alive and then I will refine, tweak and end up shifting more points to primary stat later.

Foods you can get recipes AND actual foods from guild traders. Ultimately cheaper to level provisioning and make your own, but that's also an investment in skill points.

3-For any build, consider if you want to go "Stat" (i.e. high stamina in your case) VS "crit"; this will make a difference in which sets will interest you. Some starting ideas:
All stamina all the time - Hulking Dragur - farm it at Direfrost keep
More crit focused - try Toothrow - farm it from Wayrest sewers

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Thank you for your reply! Much appreciated!

I am not sure what you mean by starting vet points? do you mean attribute stats? sorry for the confusion!

The easiest for me in regards to the foods would more than likely have to be guild traders, just need to find them to be able to get what I need :)

And for the build armor build thank you very much, trying to go more stamina for the long run so direfrost keep should do nicely and perhaps work my way up at a later date.

    Thank you again. :)

Thanks for the catch, I meant "attribute points" (fixed it).

The default/daily "crown" foods are not bad (I prefer the food to their drink), and since I am a poor in-game alchemist, I tend to use a combo of the "crown" and dropped potions.

If eventually you want to craft your own food, then put a few points into the provisioner hireling, as that's pretty much the only way one gets Frost Mirrim or Bevez juice which are needed for most high-end foods.
