Make a new BG map that's a simulation of Cyrodiil situations -- such as a keep or farm.
Allow people to specifically select the test and queue in groups or group finder, maybe starting at 12 v 12 v 12.

Then slap on whatever extra rewards you want to give them for participating.

This gets you people for the AoE test to show up for the test and not just to show up in Cyrodiil for unrelated activities to get the special rewards.
Reactivates the grouping for BGs. Hey! You can play with your friends again... for a little while.
Large groups means guilds who are already doing Cyrodiil PvP scheduled events can get whole groups in who are at least semi-coordinated -- that's part of the test demographic, really. Instead of leaving it up to chance to have an intense battle with lots of skills fired.

They should just make a new cyro campaign, and litter it with rewards for playing for a long period of time.

None of that helps test performance in the situations that matter in Cyrodiil, such as faction stack fights where ball groups and organized raids duke it out alongside PUG zergs.

A 12v12v12 just doesn't compare to the strain of, say, a primetime siege at the front door of an emp keep with multiple PVP guilds plus PUGs and zerg-surfers fighting.

Sure the Live tests won't be "business as usual." How could it be, when I'll have a cooldown on my AOEs? But the point of the test is to replicate as best as possible the same environment where you had organized raids (of up to 24 players) with "infinite healing, sustain, and damage" fighting in large battles that put a huge strain on the server. A 12v12v12 simply doesn't match how players play in Cyrodiil.

Nope, they know you will avoid the test like you avoid the PTS....so they have to get you to test it on live...its the only way....kinda like how Dr.Strange had to give the time stone to thanos...

Best way to test improvement to Cyrodiil performance?

    Run test outside of Cyrodiil!
