Graphics too sharp and "2D"

Any way to make the graphics in ESO appear less sharp and less "2D"?

Have all settings on highest possible. My toons look great, with good 3D depth and nice texture quality. But objects in my surroundings - houses, trees, stones, doors, tables, urns etc - have too sharp edges. And look a bit "flat", with not enough 3D depth. Got the latest Nvidia drivers. In Nvidia control panel I've set sharpness to zero, but objects still appears to have too much "contrast".

Have not played ESO since last summer, and just returned to the game a week ago. It looks like graphics have improved but are a bit more "glossy" (here and there). Is this correct? Or do I just remember incorrectly from how things were a year ago?

Have also recently played Rise of Tomb Raider on high settings, which looks great, so maybe ESO just looks a bit old and outdated after jumping from ROTR to ESO?

After six years, maybe it's soon time for a new game engine or ESO 2?

After letting Nvidia control panel handle the colors and contrast in the game, in addition to using DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) 4x native resolution, the game looks great :)
