Cutting your nose off to spite your face solves NOTHING, it's not going to alter one thing,

It's an empty gesture that only 'hurts' the player cancelling.

No I will no longer support them financially. You know Zenimax makes a huge profit each year. So they could easily sort these issues out. Loosing money is what will make them react. I've played since the beta and there has been ongoing issues all the time.

These Devs literally pulled a bait and switch by making Thrassian Stranglers blatantly OP to sell Greymoor

Do you really think that a pair of gloves was the reason that so many bought Greymoor?

Yes. I know many people who bought Greymoor for the sole purpose of Mythic Items. Primarily Malacath or Snow Treaders for PvP, and Thrassian for PvE.

Particularly Thrassian since it is blatantly the most powerful item to ever exist in eso. 3K raw Spell Damage.

Would love to see a true poll on that.. I for one had no idea about the existence of these items, as I always do my best to avoid spoilers.. I bought it, simply because I wanted to take part in whatever new adventure they had brewed up

Your Sub is a drop in a very big ocean, as is mine to have any effect financially and it is delusional to think otherwise and I also have played this game since beta and still love the game. no game is perfect, it is the nature of the beast. Every MMO has it's issues, Big and small, what you have to decided is either to quit the game and move on or stay and accept that no game is perfect. I chose to stay and stick with the game I love (the good and the 'bad') playing.

Im just waiting for a good MMO, that is adult themed, in rgp fantasy, with good story, mecs. Oriented towards players not, sales of some loot boxes and other crap. It will really hurt to leave a game that u invested so much, but i just cant stand the level of that crap.

I am assuming nothing of the sort here. Thousands of subscribers would have to cancel at the same time for it to be noticed.

It's still money lost due to incompetence. No matter how small the quantity is, no company in the world likes that. MUCH less one in the USA.

All Australian players laugh at your little, 1 time inconvenience.
Literally every NA maintenance is from 6pm till midnight monday night's here.
1 day a week during our "peak" the server just isn't there.

Get over yourselves and take a break for a day. Go walk your dog or something.

I play on both, and apart from the occasional maintenance hiccup on the EU server (as has happened in the past on the NA server), both servers run equally smoothly for me. If only one is down then I can play on the other anyway, or even do something else altogether as was the case today, but as a non-competitive PvEer all the performance and skill drama passes me by, so I'll carry on happily paying my two subs. Besides, today's extended downtime was nothing compared to what's been going on with the LoTRO servers this past week or two.

If these sorts of threads resulted in a significant loss of revenue, which I don't believe for a minute they do, then there would only be one consequence, namely the laying off of staff with a consequent reduction in development and maintenance work. Those who think that a company's first response to a fall in revenue is to throw more money at the business are deluding themselves.

My company's computer equipment was a complete disaster, causing a loss of administrative performance. After "throwing money" at it, we're now at peak performance, and improving a bit every day. My bosses even say that they never want to go back.

So yeah, believe it or not, sometimes it works :P

Of course. There has never ever been any kind of an interruption for NA servers. :goes into a fit of laughter: Knew I couldn't get through that with a straight face.

There have been interruptions in service, maintenance over-runs, and plain "server is borked" outages. Its been down for 7-8 hours, and then down again the next day because they had to hotfix what they rushed the day before.

For a month of ESO, it breaks down to $0.4996666666666667 a day. So let's round up to $0.50.

If the maintenance doesn't last a full 24 hours, what happens if its prorated? For one hour, it works out to $0.0208333333333333 .... Gee. what will people do with the huge amount of compensation they get?

If anyone is dead set on having 24 hours guaranteed access to any service, making sure computers, electrical systems, phone services, and humans have nothing to do with whatever that service might be. Because otherwise, doodoo happens that can't be predicted or controlled.

A sub is not required to play the game. Its extra money given to the company. Why should anyone give them that extra if they are not receiving goods or services up to the standard they expect?

Does it really matter if its a drop in ZoS money bucket? If nothing else its more income I can spend somewhere else, or stick it in the bank.
