This is my latest montage before the next patch drops, again playing on the PC EU server on Ravenwatch (no-CP). Feedback is always welcome and I hope you enjoy the video!

Still trying to learn how to play well in PvP and really have no grasped this build at all. No matter how I try to emulate what is being done it just doesn't work for me lol.

So with that, what is your general thought process when you are in these fights in regards to positioning and ability priorities

    Hi @pauld1_ESO ,

To be honest it is difficult to tell you what to do because the situation dictates what abilities to press and you can't really do "a certain combo" or "a certain tactic" every single time, especially in no CP (due to the increased damage).

I don't have a general thought process actually and this may seem weird. I just wait for the right offensive window to pressure my opponents and keep an eye on my resources to defend myself if needed. Also, choosing the right moment to use your ultimate might greatly improve your sustain.

Offensively I try to use elemental drain combined with engulfing flames, talons, lash, fossilize and another lash. I try to use mistform backbar first, so I get the extra spell damage. If you get overrun, I usually only bother using the AOE skills to keep my opponents where I want them to be and get them low, so later on an ult might be the breakthrough when they are all already on lower health.

Defensively, line of sight is your best friend. Mist into meteors, run behind a tree or a rock, etc. Certain sets on your backbar might help with healing, like Cyrodiil's Crest or Hist Sap. Cauterize also is a great heal and can be used as a small burst heal too in very niche situations.

Keep in mind, it is easy to proc everything, but it is difficult to stay alive, that should always be the first thing you should focus on when playing a specific build. I am certainly not without flaws myself, as I tend to forget heavy attacking when using S&B for example.

If you have any specific questions, I would gladly answer them through PM.

    Kind regards,
    Sven

Awesome, thx. That's what I was looking for. Yea I am learning that the backbar survival skills are key.

magDK's are the most broken class in the game currently with malacath. i wouldnt call 1vX'ing with one remotely impressive.

Then I suggest you try to 1vX with one in no CP if it is that easy. However, the combination is meta for sure, no arguing about that, but I've played very different builds as well so feel free to check those out on my channel.

Haha healing is currently so bad in no CP that I doubt theres a build capable of outhealing a malacaths magdk full DOTs

Healing in noCP is so bad that 1vX on any class is difficult and even more so on a class that is as reliant on healing as a dk. And it is not like zerglings don't run mala and procs.

    Good stuff @CrazYDunm3r

Run two proc sets + the pay2win ring.
    No skill needed.

Quite ironic, given that you said this previously:
The best way to counter proc builds is to run proc builds.
As I suggested before, I think you should try to do the same in no CP and give me your results, it isn't easy (some reasons have already been given in this post). However, the fact that you think it is by looking at this video will be taken as a compliment!
