Or, if they worked for you, you'd have a better idea of what's going on, what's "normal" in the industry and the current environment, and you'd be a little more cognizant of the problems involved with such "easy" solutions as getting rid of the people who know what's going on and replacing them with people who don't. The latter of which, incidentally, is one reason why ESO's code is in the state it is. Someone thought it was a bright idea to get rid of the original team of coders.2 -

My (amateur) advice to ZOS would be to just initially say maintenance is gonna last until 16:00 UTC even if they don't think it is gonna take that long, rather than say it's 13:00 UTC and then keep extending it. If they finish earlier than 16:00 UTC, everyone's happy, now with extensions people will be more dissatisfied.3 -
