Malacath's Band of Brutality, a gift or a curse from Oblivion?

Considering the fact that Malacath's Band of Brutality also buffs proc sets and basically negates nerfs made to proc sets that were deemed too powerful by the developers (as in proc sets that were dealing too much damage), do you think the Ring of Malacath is a gift from the Daedric Princes of Oblivion or do you think it is a curse?

    I like how broken Malacath's is but they had to put a timer on Thrassian it's okay I'm not bitter or anything. :)

    (TBH I think they should just leave both alone and let players sort out the chaos.)

    Why would they use Caluurion with Malacath? Caluurion adds Spell Critical for 2 item(s), and the five item bonus is based off single target critical damage. That makes no sense to me...

    Why would they use Caluurion with Malacath? Caluurion adds Spell Critical for 2 item(s), and the five item bonus is based off single target critical damage. That makes no sense to me...

    The crit requirement is removed in the patch notes.

    I just got it and it seems useless. Is it just meant for long fight skill rotations.

    Ok, thanks for clarifying. I didn't realize they changed the 5 item bonus. Even so, wasting two item slot bonuses would kinda sting.

    Think that I'd prefer using something like Winterborn or Elemental Succession in that kind of build, since all of the bonuses would be beneficial.
