style page drop rate seems lower than usual to me...especially considering how much more effort it takes to get them...maybe just rng but i only get about 1 style page for 20 coffers

I agree, these things don't feel rewarding at all. I did a bunch and got 1 single style page and the rest was just treasure worth about 200 gold...

I'm genuinely not a hater, I love this game, but I wish they'd give us rewarding things to work towards. I'm not certain what my incentive is to do this event, or any of their others, or PVE in general, since rewards and progression feel so lacking overall.

Yeah, I was hoping for some harder to obtain alchemy reagents. I can make more gold off treasures by bopping around Arteaum for a few minutes and digging up some leads. Well, free stuff is free stuff, anyway.

I think the combination of no good box rewards and yet another indrik I don’t care about = yet another event I will skip over. Not bashing zos tho, they did just give us the free crown store kit. But Events used to be AWESOME, not-to-miss, now they are meh. There are more rewarding things to do just in the base game.

Yeah, the boxes are pretty bad. I'm pretty disappointed with the overall direction these events are going in, and have been for a bit.

Do the style pages drop from the purple boxes as well? I haven't had a single one yet and assumed they only dropped from the golden one. And I agree, the vendor trash is pointless. Didn't get that rubbish in your reward boxes back in my day is all I'm saying.

I thought I would add a few specific things:

-mats that normally only drop in Summerset such as clam gall or powdered mother of pearl
-Little weird furniture bits that fit the Summerset theme, such as quills/feathers (Gryphons) - think of the branches for the Halloween event; or even shells or coral bits
-leads, definitely

In previous events the drop rate for styles was rather overwhelming and guild traders were quickly saturated. Maybe they've reined in too much, though, if the drop rate is too low?

Agree with OP and others - mats (love the zone specifics mats idea suggested by @newtinmpls ) and other interesting stuff like furniture (not my thing but many enjoy it, so, yeah).

Agreed, I usually do events, even PvP ones (I don’t usually PvP), and I love Summerset more than just about any area of the game. Even so, I’m skipping this event. I’m all indriked out and there’s nothing else appealing about the rewards for spending the time doing stuff I’ve already done plenty of times.

Would like to see that too but I can imagine ZOS is going nuts with their balancing act on drop rates.
With the Murkmire event they introduced clearly better but non-tradeable drops per daily special box (sometimes multiple pieces per xo), but even that caused people to complain, in part because people were "so close" to completion of a collection item but didn't want to spend to finish it up if they had bad RNG.

Now that they're more RNG on the style pages and avoided highlighting drop rates too much, they've apparently avoided that complaint -- even though we really have no idea when a Summerset Celebration and the associated style pages are going to come around again.

TLDR -- They can't please everyone so they've stopped trying.
In a way, good for them. Stop experimenting too much and definitely stop any over-generosity since that seems to just cause people to demand more and more.

Yes, I am one of those who went out of my way to collect the various branches and such that dropped from the Halloween event. I also have a goodly number of pumpkins, some of which are quite cute. I'm not so crazy about the Pelinal books, but I do agree they fit the event they are associated with.

-a small pile of red or purplish leaves
-small bit of coral (like the "bit" of coral that's visible on a coral mudcrab)
-memento/runebox with "hold out a flower, and a butterfly drinks from it then flies away)

And while I'm thinking about it

For Thieves/Assassins events:
-wanted posters
-small display weapons (daggers, knives) i.e household items
-small target or wanted poster with a knife stuck into it
-Stack of coins
-skulls (human, orsimer, elvish, Argonian, Khajiit) or even parts of skulls.
-vial of poison (smoky?) likely a super rare drop
-runebox with a "blank hood" (i.e. the hood is visible but only darkness for the "face") (yeah that would be a super rare drop)
-style material related to thieves/assassins motifs

Undaunted events
-mini versions of the monster helms for display (yeah this kind of duplicates the trophies, but still)
-bit of "treasure" (i.e. coin or valuable looking thing like a chalice)
-mini versions of the reward chests (maybe similar to jester's coffers in that they can be opened)
-style material similar to those offered in Undaunted pledge rewards
-small section of spiderweb as housing (There are a LOT of spider themed undaunted baddies)
-memento/runebox with a toast/drinking emote (since drinking gets mentioned A LOT)
-furnishing of extra large bottle of wine/alcohol maybe labeled "Grog", "Rotmeth" or just a jug with XXX on it
-furnishing of a broken weapon; i.e. hilt and part of a sword
-Rare runebox of a Bantam Guar (default name is "Tasty Legs II")
-rare emote where you hold out a fish and a bantam guar comes and takes it from you and happily eats it before running/flapping off

For the MidYear Mayhem (PvP) themed event:
-stretcher (white furnishing or plan)
-roll of bandages (tiny housing ojbect)

But for this event? I'm trying to think of some white plans or simple things that would carry the theme

Seems to be the trend of Harrowstorms giving paltry drops carrying forward. I certainly hope it's not a sign of the new normal.

The high water mark for events was getting people excited about the (rare) chance to get super valuable stuff like houses, or even a collection of houses, mounts, etc. Given their propensity for enticing players with ultra rare rewards (Radiant and apex crate things), one would think they would jump at the chance to incorporate such tactics in all their events. On the other hand, considering their server performance issues, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn that they are deliberately trying to keep the crowds down by offering lackluster rewards.

I will, however, give them credit for varying the sources for the coffers. It makes the event more interesting to a wider audience. I especially like being able to steal them!

xD I've not gotten any this event other than ones my guildies have given me.

Methinks ZoS knows they have some collectors by the short feathers and are really really pushing those crown bought tickets.

Upside, IMO, the new style is absolutely fugly so even though I will eventually collect it, am not bothered if it's not this year xD

Farmed containers the first day of the event. Drops were pure trash and 0 motif pages.

Now I only do 1 quest for the event tickets.

If ZOS wants me to be 24/7 farming in ESO, sorry but no.

I got a page with every golden coffer.

And all the pages were Sapiarch Belts so far.
