Impossible to excavate mythic parts being level 7?

Im level 7 excavation and trying to excavate malacath's parts and I always run out of time. Should I level until 10 for the passive?

AmoralOne✭✭✭✭No you dont have to. I am level 7, and I gathered all the mythic items. I have no plans to level to 10.

Sleep724✭✭✭✭✭It is very difficult. Took me many tries to get all the malacath pieces. It is doable however. Level 8 makes it quite a bit easier surprisingly enough to the point where I rarely run out of time anymore.0
