Anyone got an Idea which sets could be the best for mag or stam dps?

I main Magblade wearing false god, mother's sorrow and Zaan.

Maybe but I was asking which sets could become must have for mag and stam.

Trying to farm/buy them cheap now.

I people started shouting the answer from the roof tops, those up and coming sets would be trash on arrival.

Blood for blood and Thrassian removed from trials. False Gods nerfed. Advancing Yokeda buffed. Alkosh armor debuff increased. Stam Sorc buffed (and now brings another armor debuff).

Relequen will be less effective after its nerf, but AY + Lokke will still be very strong.

Thats not entirely correct. There is some time but none of the changes help stam enough to become the meta.. So far. Alcosh still isn't a DPS set either. Having it on a tank is better.

Right, but a tank uses it to remove around 5k armor from enemies now. That’s more helpful to stamina DPS because they don’t get any penetration from medium armor.

There's still 2+ weeks of PTS testing to go ... ZOS could still change gear sets between now and then.

They could also ninja-nerf gear sets between PTS and going Live.

Its not enough on its own. Might cover the rele nerf at best but rele carried most stam.

Stam will be much stronger in dungeons this patch, ay got 5%~ crit bonus, which is a lot, and relequen was weak af anyway in most dungeons. Not to mention stranglers, which are now stronger on stamina since stamina characters have more resistances and scale better with weapon damage.

Yeah. And I’m not saying that stamina is definitely meta. It’s just a shift in that direction. Basically all the advantages that Magicka had in Greymoor are being removed. So it will be much closer to Harrowstorm meta, except without the OP MagDK’s because they have no sustain without the old Asylum Staff or BFB. And compared to Harrowstorm there are a few more things in favor of stam now (easier physical pen, AY buffed, higher crit with daggers to synergize with elemental catalyst).
