Would be kinda nice if there was some sort of loyalty program... like after x years of eso+ subscription you get to select a mount of your choice or something like that? I know there were loyalty rewards in the beginning (like the tiger mount)

I think that's how they look at the crowns you get every month with ESO+. If you save them up, after a while, you can get a mount of your choosing from the store.

I think it's a bad view. Loyalty program which means someone was subscriber for certain amount of time without breaks. Because I could buy subscription twice during that year and then I have enough crowns to buy some mount, but was I a loyal customer?

I don't see how continuing to spend some money on the game makes you a disloyal customer, even if its not all at once or all the time, no sense paying if your not going to have the time to be playing every month.

If people find the game that bad that they need an incentive to keep playing its time to move on to another game, I pay my yearly sub and forget about it, I am happy with what I am getting, its cheap as far as entertainment is concerned.

Here's some ESO loyalty with rewards for you: Xbox EU cp 1575 account completely stuck since Wrathstone download, for 1 year, 4 months and 11 days I've missed everything and no one cares even skeever's arse. On my working Xbox NA cp 1258 account I'm starting to finally pack things, just left 4 trading guilds and thanked my friend for all the help, I've been probably kicked from all my EU guilds long ago so that's solved I assume. Sometimes I get messages from some EU players asking why I quit there, well I never quit. Overall I like this rewarding the loyalty idea, I don't think it has quite worked with my situation.

Pretty sure you can't extend a subscription that hasn't finished, so it's almost like they don't want you to be too loyal.

You can. Maybe it's because I don't have self-renewing. For me it basically works like applying a certain balance of days to my account.

It can work like this - at the end of every calendar year they count your paid dayes for all year. If you have for example totally 100 days, you get small reward, if you have 300 days, you get big reward. It would be nice to get some cosmetics for loylaty once a year and it's not a big cost for ZOS.

I'd like that priority connection. Less ping less lag.

    We had a loyalty programme.

It was discontinued with console release.

I guess ZOS decided it was no longer a trait they wished to reward.

I get less lag would be great, but that needs always all players to have. No differences can there ever be made. Imagine the cry if the playerfield wouldnt be on the same level anymore. Priority players vs...lag hell. The wouldnt even count as p2w anymore, that would be pay or we make you such a disadvantage that you can forget playing against those priority players.

If all lag like hell, its at least fair for all players. (and still a lag-hell).

Yeah the loyalty program ended, once they changed the payment model, in March 2015.

Not exactly: in the extinct loyalty program the time counting was cumulative, not consecutive - if you stopped your subscription for a few months and started again, you'd receive the reward after having been subscribed for the proper number of months.

Rift has something like this. And it might not be a good idea.

I bought the physical copy of Rift when it came out, a year and a half later, all my friends quit playing. I wanna say it was when Nightmare Tide came out. I got bored and stopped playing too. Then it was maybe two years after that, I had a nostalgia itch and fired it back up. Logged back in to my main, and had a ton of "loyalty reward" chests to open. It was all cosmetics if I remember correctly, but it was nice to not feel forgotten for how much time and money I threw at that game before.

But....if you look at Rifts multi-tiered loyalty program now, it's not about how much time you put in or how long you've been a fan, no, its about how many hundreds of dollars you pump into their maintenance mode game. Their "loyalty" program ceased to be about loyalty.

This could be a very bad thing for ESO. Theres already a disgusting amount of monetization in ESO. Most good, some bad.

There is a loyalty program. You get a pretty statue each month and if you don't sub you'll miss out :trollface:

I think their loyalty program is to keep the servers, hmm connected? Not really. Powered? Definitely not. Available? Can't really say that either. Probably best just to call it on. Anyway, there are servers, you're welcome, loyal denizens of Tamriel.

I play on my only working Xbox NA account and sub, but still I haven't got any of the little statues on my Xbox EU account simply because I cannot login at all. I'm absolutely hyped indeed, just works!

Final Fantasy has that but then again it stops after a certain point and subs are obligatory if you want to keep playing
