Bug with Cadwell's Almanac

I'm on the very last section of the Almanac/Gold for The Rift, and have completed the first four of the five objectives but the final objective will not trigger for me. When I get to Trolhetta, the king is not in his tent.

Being the very last objective of this incredibly long quest line, this is very frustrating. I have already submitted a bug report in game with screenshots, but it's been weeks now and there's been no response from zos.

Any help would be appreciated!

It may be a matter of prerequisite quests that arent on the Almanac. Take a look at this link; https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:To_the_King

That is the quest you need to have active in order for the King to be at Trolhetta. If you use the Previous Quest link on there you can follow the chain backward to where you should be. The in-game Zone Guide (from the map window) may also be able to help.

Thank you, that's a good idea, but I've double-checked that and have done all of the pre-reqs. I just went back over all of them to confirm.

two support tickets in, with screenshots, weeks later and no reply from ZOS. It's only the LAST quest of caldwells gold, so you know, no big deal...

thanks ZOS. I would abandon the quest, but you cant even do that...
