"New item" symbols (encircled '!' symbols) in Collections window disappear when category is changed

* What were you doing?
Taking screenshots of crafting style elements of newly purchased "Crown Crafting Motif: Welkynar" motif.
* What did you expect to happen?
In the "Collections" window, when I switched categories from "Shoulders" back to "Legs," I expected the "new item" symbols (encircled '!' symbols) on the Medium and Heavy armor elements of the "Shoulders" category, and on the "Shoulders" category itself, to remain until I either viewed those new elements, or closed the window.
* What actually happened?
Instead, the "new item" symbols (encircled '!' symbols) on the Medium and Heavy armor elements of the "Shoulders" category, and on the "Shoulders" category itself, simply disappeared as soon as I switched categories from "Shoulders" to "Legs."
* What else would you like us to know?
Although this is a cosmetic issue, it suffices merely to add a "mark as new" feature for each element and category of the "Collections" window. This should be trivial to fix. Also, this issue has also occurred in the past, and is extremely annoying, because every time that I miss taking a screenshot of any element or category marked "new" in the "Collections" window, there is no way to restore it. I often review past screenshots of memorable moments, including acquisition of new items or elements in the "Collections" window, and every time that I see a missed screenshot that cannot be restored, it is extremely annoying and makes me want to quit playing.
