Interesting. I'd seen the name 'Darkstorm' around once, but I didn't know where it came from.

I liked Markarth back in Skyrim (might be the Orc in me). I'm really interested to see how it turns out here, and especially to see how far it goes. I'm really liking how Greymoor's handled the Reachmen so far, and I'm interested to see more about this Timbercrow clan. I really want to see this costume that's coming up soon - Siege Merits were not too difficult to earn, but the one costume you can get for them is... kinda not that good looking. This one though? I'm intrigued, but all we have is a tiny icon of the female version - but it might be one of those shirtless barbarian outfits we all want to show off our tattoos with (especially since the next crates have some nice tats coming as well)

This, lol. I've even given up on Blackreach, just ANY proper Dwemer home, anywhere, please, ZOS.

It would have to be something in the style of Sinderion's Field Laboratory or the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth from TES 5 or it doesn't count.

We've known about this for some time since they hinted of the Reach since the reveal stream of Greymoor. Unless you wish Whiterun to be Reachmen that is.

If I recall the Reachmens writing hasn't been the best given how all of them come off as evil even in Karthwatch.

Even when that whole story involves the Nords having stolen a Reachmen child. So there's a chance of more Evil Ayleid Reachmen.

I want an evil giant dwemer manse on that hill instead but with an evil alchemist vibes from it. All the other dwemer homes look too nice and bright. Especially frozen lake one. Then outside would be lots of blackreach mushrooms and plants. A small island in a river you could build out too. I want dwarven ruins and massive plants jutting from the cavern above.

Yes!i really like they make the reach big as be able to conecto with the orsinium zone i really hate hiw they make north and south elsweyr separate by anything

I was more talking about their accents than anything. They were fairly generic enemies in Skyrim, and now they definitely seem like their own thing rather than Bretons-wearing-fur.

I haven't played through the story yet (waiting for my main to get through everything else first), but I doubt they're really being focused on with the focus on the vampires. Still, at least the dungeons and stuff I have seen are making it like the Icereach coven is doing something other than being 'we need a generic enemy here.'

Really hope they get developed more in the Reach, considering that at this timepoint the Reach is controlled by the Reachmen.

There’s a quest in the Rift, I believe it part of the main quest, where in order to get thru a door, you have to sacrifice someone, either the EP captain that’s there or a Reachmen prisoner. If you pick the reachmen, on the way back to the door, he goes on and on about his family and his two daughters and how he can’t wait to see them and wants you to meet them.

Hoping Zos will throw in his family somewhere so I can tell his daughters I sacrificed him to help the Pact. I’m sure they would understand cuz Blood for the Pact, amirite?

Zenimax are not like Bethesda when will people learn this? They make it 200000056600 million ^ 1243325 % clear where we are going in the future and stuff even in game hints are blatant if you know basic ES lore.

In the first dlc of the year before Greymoor an NPC in one of the dungeons mentioned the Imperial City and I knew it was going to be Cyrodil next year lol. There is zero confusion. So this means next year when the first dlc dungeons drop we will know if its Hammerfell or Blackmarsh next.

They confirmed it before we even got to play Greymoor. They said that if you are excited about the lore of The Reach you would be exited about the zone DLC.

that also means that a large portion between eastern and western skyrim remains open..was hoping this update would close that and reveal / finish all of skyrim on the map...

its also a bit weird to be hoenst, I mean what lies between western and eastern skyrim? Middle skyrim? who rules there?

Is White run ruled by a third King or who does it belong to?

And why is the area between eastern and western Skyrim so huge? If you look on the map of Skyrim it should only contain the slim sliver containing whiterun and dawnstar...

I like to add a qualifier, like "almost", until the official announcement. The official announcement for Q4 won't be until after Stonethorn.

- for Clockwork City we got Transmutation.
- for Murkmire we got a new arena.
- for Southern Elsweyr we got a new hub and faction dailies.

Any ideas?

I mean antiquities? and Mythic items...I think they will expand on that...
Doubt we get a new system for q4...new skill line or class seems out of the window this year as well...

Expected The Reach, hopefully sized ok, though I have a feeling a lot of that assumed in the images will be mountains and not really use-able area. Prob end up same playable size as S Elsweyr, that seemed ok for a DLC I guess.

Yeah it was pretty much known given the Devs and others at Zenimax have been very open when it comes to the location. So the datamine here really was not needed.
Rich Lambert even said pr hinted the Reach he did when they were doing the Greymoor announcement jan 16th so we already knew since the day Greymoor was announced it was going to be the Reach.

Whiterun and Falkreath were apart of Western Skyrim but they left either due to their Jarl dying or a reason they have yet oto get into.
Winterhold and Dawnstart if I recall are Eastern Skyrim it's just Base game wasn't good with Nord Jarls as we do not know who the Jarl of the Rift is never mind the Jarls of the other holds.

Transmutation was a game changer, a new arena was fun but nothing big, and southern elsweyr didn't add anything except for better dragons imo. I hope they throw in something cool though.

Transmutation was a game changer, a new arena was fun but nothing big, and southern elsweyr didn't add anything except for better dragons imo. I hope they throw in something cool though.

I think it would be cool to have more faction quest like a vampire hunter like the dawn guard. I’m not sure when the dawnguard were disbanded but Ik they were formed in the second era. That would be pretty cool imo I mean it would be cool to have some dawn guard armor and stuff like that. I’m sure that won’t happen though
