    They just nerfed red mountain hard.

    One of my favorite builds was deadly cloak+blood craze+bloodthirst spam, and proccing back to back volcanoes...

    Now the damage is nerfed by 30%. This set wont be used at all I dont think considering it's still flame damage.

    Nah, Pillar of Nirn doesn't trigger instantly and thus can be roll-dodged out of before the first hit applies that triggers the dot.
    Venomous Smite triggers instantly and stays on target, it can't be dodged or negated by other means then Cleanse which makes it harder to counter then a roll dodge which prevents Pillar.

    Shadow of the Red Mountain: Decreased the damage dealt by this set to 5918, down from 8000, and removed the proc chance. Now whenever you deal damage with a weapon, you spawn a volcano that erupts after 1 second that deals 5918 damage to the closest enemy. This effect can only occur every 2 seconds.

    Afaik it shouldn't be too much of a loss since it had the proc chance before; maybe a 500 dps loss overall now that it's guaranteed to proc perfectly on time.

    Nah, its still cool as heck.
    It does adequate damage
    It procs a lot, for me anyway!

    This is excellent news. Its entirely possible there wont be a dps loss or it will be negligible, if it procs every time now.

    I combine Red Mountain with Infernal Guardian, and on my 2H StamDK - Brawler is in every rotation so fires IG consistently. You add Way of Fire or Ashen grip to complete the firey goodness. This is obviously not about the meta, its about burning stuff and smiling a lot while you play.

    Anyway important thing the build does is, everything close to me and far from me, is taking a ton of fire damage, passively :) while I go to town with my firey rotation :)

    Burn baby.

    Unleashed terror isn't released yet, and it is not even like that anymore. It was changed.
