Nerf GROUPS not everyone and everything

Every patch I read "Nerfed X because of groups". Why are you nerfing everything then? You nerf 80 damage off of New Moon, essentially retiring the set for everyone already, so that it isn't OP in a group? You nerfed everyone's heals so they're not OP in a group? The fact that you made a game wide nerf essentially means that you didn't address the group problem at all. Just add ramping penalties for being in a group or something. You could have easily made it so NMA has 80 less damage WHILE GROUPED. Or reduced healing done to other players. Stop nerfing solo players and small-scale players just because everyone wants to run around PvP 24 deep spamming Breath of Life, or that the game is to easy in a trial. This game has seriously been taking some hits on terms of playability. So many good players have quit over changes that make zero sense.

This sets power and availability were a huge advantage for solo PvP players overall.

And anyone else is allowed to do the same.

    DON'T YOU AGREE?

Seriously though writing out entire posts in caps is just going to distract from what you are trying to say and make most people dismiss you immediately whether you have a valid point or not.

[snip] If anyone wants to discuss the actual content in the post I'm game.

They changed Combat Physician to buff groups. Don't know why though:

    - it's a strong single-target shield set
    - it's in one of the easiest dungeons in the game
    - they are making it give a shield everyone you can heal
    - they nerfed Iceheart so raid groups can't rely on it so much for no-death runs ... but now they let a single person in the raid give everyone a shield

The conflicting changes here boggles the mind.
If they want a trial-worthy group-shield set, make a new one and put it in a trial for their experiments.
Don't change an existing set with an existing play pattern into something with a completely different focus.

To be fair, combat physician requires quite a sacrifice on live for its 5-piece, and since you can't control who gets buffed by it on live thanks to the healing system, buffing it may not really be an issue IMO. The set is in a pretty worthless state on live since it can't even reliably offer the wearer something, unlike nearly every other set in the game.

If someone wears that set to support their group, they better be prepared to be squishy because they will pay for it elsewhere.

    Nope.
People carefully limit their heals to self and/or choose where to use it (e.g., vMA where there isn't anyone else who can get shielded by it) so the heal goes to them. Just the shield nerf cuts that shielding to LESS THAN HALF.

Now it's going to be a trial/group set where it doesn't matter that you can't "control" it because everyone can get it simultaneously, incluidng the person wearing it -- the cooldown will be changed to PER PERSON. Just do your usual spam area healing and you'll get everyone eventually.

The set as it is on live is actually in a good place. Even if you look at it as a healer set, for a BEGINNER healer -- who would get it in a BEGINNER dungeon -- it gives emergency shielding to your heal target in a small-group setting (like in a dungeon, where you got it) while you are learning to heal. So the concept is good even if experienced players do use it for solo heals.
