Imperial City Boss Leads

So recently I decided to get some mythic items for my collection and one of the leads for Malacath's comes from boss drops in the imperial city. This is fine, however, it is virtually impossible to kill a boss by yourself without a full group protecting you from the zergtrain and/or the random magsorc running around looking for somebody to throw frags at mid fight.

Finding a group for this would be fine, if people actually played. There seems to be an unspoken rule where you are not allowed to talk to anybody in the imperial city, so setting up a group with likeminded players just doesn't happen. Surely I can't be the only person having this issue here, is there a cheese way to get this lead?

This past MyM, I finally got the achievement for killing all of the bosses during the event - but it was quite difficult - as I seemed to experience the same “radio silence” that you felt.

In past events, there was almost constant chatter of people putting together groups to either farm bosses, or go the middle to kill Molag... and it was great!

I know this doesn’t really help much - but perhaps it is indicative of people playing more solo, as opposed to grouping up, lately? I know there are a ton of my Guild-Mates who are farming leads - so maybe try one of your guilds?

Chiming in to agree with @ShawnLaRock I used my guilds to get the lead; and it definitely took me around two hours.

I do recommend (my guild mates told me this) to do this in no-cp because while it will be more difficult it's also just less frequented and so a way more enjoyable experience than getting nuked down by the random guild IC raid party.

As other have said, asking in guild chats to form a group on either faction side is a good way to do it.

No CP makes it a bit more difficult combat wise, but far less risk of having to fight another player. Also less waiting for the bosses to spawn. Got mine there with a few members of my PvP guild.

Thanks for the responses guys, no CP does have a noticeably smaller player base which is nice, however I am still getting ganked usually half way through the fight - I’ve not been able to find an AD PvP guild so I’ve decided to give this lead a rest for a little while, perhaps until the next MYM
