Players and ZOS shouldn't rely on AddOn authors forever. It's time ZOS recognized that players will find writs more fun with more automation and overhaul the system entirely -- and also introduce the improvements to Console. ✭✭✭✭✭Add-on people have left before. If it is an important add-on, someone will undoubtedly pick it up. The ESO community is good this way.
That is not to say that ZOS should not be adding important usability functions to the game. I am just enough of a realist to figure that most of us will be dead and buried before that happens.
