Crown Scammer - [snip]

I just wanted to make this thread to alert anybody who is planning on selling or buying crowns in PC/NA, [snip] is a scammer and will not deliver your gold OR crowns depending on whether he is pretending to buy or sell at that time.

He scammed me out of 5k crowns without paying, I reported his name to ZOS and sent them screenshots of our conversation, after being offline for a while and keeping my sub active I thought I would offload some crowns for gold because I am broke, only to have this happen.

I'm unsure if whether or not any real action will be taken but I don't want anybody else getting scammed by this guy if his account remains active! Please be aware.

Thanks for the warning... but this thread will probably be locked for naming and shaming.

In the future, you could sell or buy crowns through some of the larger groups, like Tamriel Crown Exchange or World Crown Exchange. Tamriel Crown Exchange has a nice Discord and is very easy to use. True, the exchange rate is slightly higher, but all transactions are guaranteed and you won't get scammed.

First of all this thread will be shut down for "naming and shaming", as much as I agree that they should be shamed, its against ZoS policy.

If you provided evidence via the screen shots, ZoS should refund your crowns and he will probably get banned

Thank you for wanting to warn potential victims, but if you don't already know, either this thread will be deleted, or the title and text will be edited to remove the player's name, due to the "naming and shaming" rule.

Thanks for letting me know about the discord servers to make the whole process a lot easier and safer, I think this is important for people to know when making any crown transactions with players.

I wasn't aware of the naming and shaming rule, thank you for letting me know about that too.

If I'm able to at least make one person a little more weary than I was or even prevent somebody from getting scammed by this particular person then I'm satisfied with whatever ZOS wants to do to the thread.

I have read that people already got reimbursements in that situation. So it's worth a try.

Stop using Zone to pick a crown buyer.

I would suggest Tamriel Crown Exchange. They run a really tight ship there.

I'm not familiar with World Crown Exchange, but one of their sellers recently went rogue and scammed a few people.
