I've only ever played on NA but is EU active? Seems a lot of the Americans are asleep when I play NA.

I play on both, and find that EU (which I play during EU prime time) is quite busy. I don't know about pvp or group content though....

I play on both as well and in my experience - EU is VERY busy during specific hours but it also has a very distinct downtime. oh there are still SOME people online but not as many. not sure when it ends, but I notice the quiet around 10pm est or so.

US server also has downtime, but it seems a bit shorter and less intense then EU in my experience (my schedule is weird, so I have player at varying times) my theory is that difference is due to a decent amount of EU/Australian players actualy playing on US rather then EU server.

PC-EU mostly have EU players, yes you get Russians other countries in east Europe and the middle east but I'm pretty sure close to 90% is GMT or GMT+1 time zone giving an small prime time, US is 4 time zones and US server also tend to serve Australia and Asia.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

yeah, that's what it feels like.

for instance during midyear mayhem, there wasn't a time i could find on US where I could just relax into IC dailies. on EU - around 11pm est, I ended up either the only person in the entire campaign, or close to it, cause I managed to finish the entire quest chain and haven't seen a single other player, or any signs of them in either city proper, or the sewers (I also took that opportunity to grab all the skyshards) for a few hours that it took.

but. during prime time it feels busier then US, so as long as you are playing during prime time, there should be NO issues with finding groups and what not.

10pm EST it's 3am (UK) or 6am (Russia) due to time zones.

EU server is most active between 4pm UTC and 11pm UTC.

During that time all of my Guilds would normally be showing a minimum of 150+(usually around the 200 mark) people online after 11pm that drops to around 50.

When PVP-ing campaigns get quiet around the same time weekdays maybe a bit later on weekends. 😀

PC EU has a more active users than PC NA according to ZOS, but like other people said, they usually play during the same time.

Also the server is held together with shoestring and tape and it burns down at least once a month.
