I find myself quitting after every patch like this.

I end up not playing for a while until Zenimax gets their *** together and starts rolling out the later patches that all pretty much just..undo everything they did in a previous.

Thats how it seems to work. Roll out hilarious and poorly thought out patches..and then spend the next year slowly undoing them all while hanging their head.

Can I have your stuff? I'll give it back to you when Zenimax get their *** together and you return.

The glorious news this time is: they will have competition in the market, soon. :)
May finally mean there is no reason to return for those of us that share your sentiment.

At least you don't PvP in a unique or hybrid build, somehow you get nerfed, but the unbalanced and meta stuff stays extremely potent update after update even if its mathematically superior to anything else in the game.

There's people seriously defending stragglers, as if a health and shield reduction even matters when using the set if you are a tank and/or know the various bugs around the set.

ZOS really is not balancing the game properly and the result is the game swining in wild ways every patch for balance.

Take thrassians for example: the downside ZOS lists is heal reduction and shield reduction, no cloak, no croutching. The only problem is that it provides massive damage.

Across the rest of the game, the entire limiting factor for damage is and always has been sustain. Sustain and damage are interwoven and the opposite of each other, and one would think that Thrassian's proper "debuff" would be a huge cost increase for huge damage, instead they took a lesser route to make the set OP in nearly every use case on live.

Now, they can toss that "rule-breaker" argument out whenever they want, but it isn't exactly just rule-breaking when its not only OP on its own, but OP when stacked with other OP gear, precisely because the downside of the set does nothing in reality.
