Question about back bar skills

Hello everyone,

I've seen some skill builds that slots, for example, Inner Light on back bar, so, my question is, Inner Light buff is applied to back bar skills when I switch to front bar?

DPS builds usually put dots on back bar, so these dots will be buffed when I switch to front bar?

As I recall, ground cast dots like ele blockade are dynamic so will update to front bar stats, but dots you cast on a mob are fixed at point of casting them.

I hadn't known this, but if this is indeed the case, it will certainly impact how I set up my bars.

Its pretty imp, esp if you run infused bb precise fb but note it may not be as simple as I thought. Dug out this post from last year.

Prob worth testing your own dots - tldr is its a bit funky. May get tidied up as part of systematisation of game (or may already have been). When I'm back on I'll have a look at mine.

I just had a quick look on my DK. As the link I put in concluded, ground AOEs (woe) were dynamic but so were my Burning Embers and Engulfing Flames which Id expected to be static as they dot the target. I don't know if they're exceptions to the "rule" that I quoted (though wondering where I got that from now) or if things got changed and everythings dynamic now. Wondering if someone who's been around longer than me can shed light
